Below is a list of our most frequently asked questions, however please do not hesitate to call and speak to our friendly staff for assistance and local recommendations.

Why should I book using this website?

By booking using this website you are dealing directly with the accommodation provider, which ensures you are getting the best rate available and also gives you more control over your booking.

What is the earliest I can Check-in?

Check in is from 2pm. To request an early check-in, please contact reception the day before you arrive. We will always try to get you into your room early, but please note sometimes this is not possible due to high number of rooms that have to be cleaned each morning. Additional charges may apply. Check out is 10am.

Can I arrive late?

Yes, please give us a call if you're wanting to arrive after 8pm and we can arrange a late check in.

Do you have off street parking?

Yes, you will be able to park your car right out the front of your room. There is one car park per room. If you are travelling with a trailer or a larger vehicle, contact us to make arrangements.  We do have several longer car parks available.

Are your rooms non-smoking?

Yes, all rooms at Matilda Motor Inn are non-smoking. Smoking areas are located on the property, please enquire during check-in or booking.

Do you have a restaurant?

Tilly's Restaurant & Bar is open for dinner Monday to Friday from 6pm, breakfast from 6.30am Monday to Friday and from 7.30am for continental breakfast on weekends. For your convenience, room service breakfast and dinner are also available on weekdays.

Do you supply breakfast?

Breakfast is available at extra charge in the breakfast room behind the restaurant or room service 7 days from 630am to 9am weekdays and continental breakfast only from 7.30am only on weekends. There are cooked and continental options available for your breakfast on weekdays.  Room service orders need to be at reception by 7pm the evening prior.  For those planning an early start, why not order a continental breakfast which can be delivered to the room the evening before departure?

Do you have room service?

Yes, for both breakfast and dinner.

Do you cater for events, parties or functions?

Yes, please contact us today to organise your next event. Whether it be a birthday party, a workplace education session or a function, we can cater for your every need. We use our breakfast room for day and evening functions. A range of food and beverage packages can be tailored to meet your group requirements.

Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?

Yes, we have FREE WiFi available in the guest rooms and also in the reception area as well.

Do you have Foxtel?

Yes, we have selected channels available in all rooms including sport, drama, entertainment and news.

How close are you to the Zoo?

Matilda Motor Inn is just 10 minutes (5km) by car to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo. If you want to ride your bikes to the Zoo, it is an easy 15 minute ride.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made at least 24 hours prior to the check in date and time (2pm) or will be charged the full amount of the first night. In peak periods or for group bookings, 7 nights notice is required.

How do I guarantee my booking?

Credit card details are required to secure room bookings. For extended bookings or large group bookings, or peak season bookings a deposit may be requested at the discretion of the Matilda Motor Inn management.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex (2% surcharge).

Do you accept coach and bus tour booking?
